You should have read the two books, the Fifth Discipline and Competitive Strategy during the course of the semester. In this addition to the case study, you will apply the concepts and theories from these books to a case. You must go beyond the content analysis of the books and critically evaluate themes that are making significant contribution to the authors’ main argument, as those themes related to your case. The chapter in your textbook, Introduction: Analyzing a Case Study and Writing a Case Study Analysis provides guidance for your paper, as you analyze the company’s competitive profile and the best strategies they can use to enhance and sustain their competitive advantage. A sample format, drawn from this chapter, is described below, This is an opportunity to show your ability to consume, synthesize, and apply what is learned in the class, the reading assignments and the research materials. You should be able to identify at least three concepts from each of the two supplementary books by Senge and Porter in addition to the general case analysis.
